During a thorough preventative health check, your doctor will conduct a history and examination tailored to your individual needs. For women, this may include breast checks and cervical screening, while men may undergo prostate assessments. Your skin and internal organ systems are also covered during this process, which may also include a fasting blood test to check cholesterol and blood glucose levels. In some cases, a bowel cancer screening test or other tests such as an exercise stress test or X-rays may be recommended.
