After over 36 years at the helm, the founders Doctor Philip Perlstein and Doctor Harry Unglik have retired.
In 1988, they created Mid-Town Medical Clinic and in 1993, with Physiotherapists Roger Moore and the late Gordon McDonald, they started The Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre.
In 2023, the two entities merged under the new name of Healthcare on Collins.
Over the years, the dedication to their patients’ health, their own education and high-quality professional care around them has attracted many excellent practitioners with a wide range of interests to consult from this service. They have both continuously promoted a collegial approach amongst colleagues to come up with better outcomes to patients.
During this time, they have also set up the directors team to continue in their footsteps and carry on the legacy of healthcare excellence. Sports Doctor Con Mitropoulos joined them in 1999, Physiotherapist Daniel Yee, in 2021, Doctor Anita Muñoz and Marie Moolenaar in 2024.
More than a beautiful space for independent prctitioner to see their patients, they have created an amazing philosophy dedicated to patients’ health. They are leaving a legacy of comprehensive, compassionate healthcare of the highest quality.
