I began my medical journey when I graduated from Monash University in 1992. I then became a resident doctor at Dandenong, Sandringham and the Royal Children’s Hospitals.

I entered the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1994 and became a Fellow of the RACGP in 1997.

My clinical hours from 1994 onwards were spent between the Midtown Medical Clinic and the Melbourne Sports Medicine Center. I became a director of the Midtown Medical Clinic in 1999 and of the Melbourne Sports Medicine Center in 2018.

When not in the clinics I was the assistant doctor at the North Melbourne Football Club in the AFL for the eight years from 1994 to 2002 and then became the senior doctor for the following eight years until leaving at the end of the 2010 season. During these years, I believe I have gained a wealth of knowledge in the diagnosis, treatment and management of not only the many sporting injuries that present at the AFL level but also the many conditions that present in everyday life. One thing I truly believe is that all people deserve the same care and attention that is provided to the most elite athlete. As a consequence of this training, my aim is to bring this level of care to all of my patients ranging from people with general medical conditions to the weekend sporting warriors.

In addition to my time spent at Healthcare on Collins, I am an assistant surgeon to some of Melbourne‘s leading orthopedic surgeons.
This intra-operative experience complements my clinical musculoskeletal practice and allows me to be involved with my patients at every point in their treatment.
