Dr Anita Muñoz
MBBS (Hons), FRACGP, Grad Cert Clin Teach, MPH, GAICD
As a doctor, I am committed to evidence-based medicine, lifelong learning and in actively involving my patients in their own health care. I believe in providing meaningful explanations to my patients so that they can participate in their own healthcare decisions.
In my role as Chair of the Victorian Council of the RACGP I am passionate about promoting the role of general practice in the health of patients, communities and in public health more broadly via health system improvement, innovation, sustainability, and equity. I see general practice as the key to a rational health system that produces better outcomes for patients and practitioners alike.
In my free time, I enjoy music, literature, attending musicals, travelling and jogging around Melbourne’s beautiful parks, while listening to a good podcast. I play classical guitar and am a member of a choir.
