Covid-19
COVID-19/ Infection Control
In line with current guidelines, we are no longer mandating the wearing of a mask for patients without respiratory symptoms who attend this service.
We encourage you to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable doing so, particularly for any person who is immunocompromised. Please feel free to ask your health practitioner to also wear a mask during your consultation.
If you have respiratory symptoms such as a cough, runny nose, sore throat, or fever you must still wear a mask and let the staff know that you are unwell upon arrival or at booking. This enables us to protect vulnerable patients and staff. This service utilises a separate waiting area for people with infectious symptoms.
Telehealth consultations are an option if you have respiratory symptoms.
We strongly encourage and readily provide COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations for all eligible people.
