Professional Summary:
Thank you very much for entrusting me with your medical care. Being your GP is an enormous privilege, and my goal is to provide you with thorough, thoughtful and comprehensive care across all stages of your life.
I was born in Japan and grew up in Melbourne, so I am fluent in both Japanese and English. I was an optometrist before I decided it would be nice to treat more than just eyes, which lead me to studying medicine at Deakin University, Geelong. I have worked in both metropolitan and rural Victoria, completing my specialist GP training in Hamilton and Heywood.
I am involved in teaching the next generation of GPs as a medical educator and GP supervisor with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Music keeps me very happy, so you can find me frequently playing the viola in a string quartet and a number of orchestras, including Corpus Medicorum and the Australian Doctors Orchestra. I also love all things relating to aviation!
